life

Okay, so I decided to just write a little something about life.

It boggles me.

It is crazy, fun, perplexed, and sound.

It is what it is.

But here's the thing:  I consider myself a highly perceptive person.

So I always give everyone I meet the benefit of the doubt.

Being older and wiser, however, limits me.

I can only take so much ignorance and disrespect.

I always tell my children to be kind to others and to respect all they believe in.

We each have our own idealism of life, and I truly respect that of others.

But I will always step back if I need to.

It's o.k. because I understand how life works.

I am mainly writing this today to say, if you don't get me then don't patronize me.

Just accept me for whom I am.

And do not ever - get in the way of my happiness.

This is something, no matter who you are, everyone is entitled to.

It is life, a gift.

You make it your own.

How you make it - is your choice.

listening

I decided to listen intently to every word they say

I do already, but I am always multitasking

something I really do not care to do,

but as a mother of two

it unfortunately happened beyond my control

it is not a bad thing

I am just a big fan of focusing on one thing at a time

as I always tell my children

as I started to say in the beginning...

listen intently to every word

this is how you can keep a good friend

and two of the best friends I will ever have

are the two that will be a part of my life as long as I live

so I never want to miss a word they are saying
